Until the end of 2022, I was a postdoc at Bonn University at the institute of applied mathematics. As of January 2023, I will be a tenure-track Juniorprofessor at Potsdam university.
I’m mostly interested in probability theory and discrete mathematics, in particular the mathematical study of random growth models which form the so-called Kardar-Parisi-Zhang universality class (see here for an introduction), which include the (totally) asymmetric exclusion processes or last passage percolation models. I'm also very interested in the study of mixing times of markov chains, as well as the asymptotic behaviour of random young diagrams which e.g. encode random lozenge and domino tilings.
